Parkersburg Bicycle to Host Free Winter Movie Series
Colder months find you not getting outside to ride as much as you might like? Come to Parkersburg Bicycle and get your cycling fix on the big screen. This winter we're hosting a free cycling movie series on Thursday nights -- Jan. 21, Feb. 18 and March 18.
On Jan. 21 we'll feature Klunkerz, an excellent documentary about the origination of mountain biking in the late 1960s and early 1970s. Learn from off-road pioneers Joe Breeze, Gary Fisher, Tom Ritchey, Jacquie Phelan and others just what they were thinking when they developed their equipment and minds to create a new sport. Popcorn and beverages will be provided. Please bring your own chair or find a spot on the floor. Showtime is 7:30 p.m. Feel free to arrive at 7 p.m. if you would like to mingle before the movie. Everyone is welcome. Bring the whole family!
