Parkersburg Bicycle was happy to be a sponsor The Wayne Ultra on June 27, but we were even happier to race it. We offer a big thank you to everyone from the Mid-Ohio Valley who supported the race -- the River Valley Mountain Bike Association members who built and maintain the trails, the volunteers who filled our bottles and catered to us with snacks, the smiling folks who cheered for us in the woods, and other sponsors for supporting such a great community event. Parkersburg Bicycle manager Nick Casto placed 7th in the XC race, staff member Kim Coram tied for first in the women's XC race, owner Pete Kotses won the single speed XXC, and owner Meredith Erlewine placed 3rd in the women's XXC. We all had a great time in the woods thanks to RVMBA!
