We are proud to announce that Parkersburg Bicycle is now offering classes. We are starting out with a basic maintenance class, where you'll learn how to do a quick safety check on your bike and how to change a flat tire. Fixing a flat is an easy-to-learn skill that can make a huge difference in your riding experience.
Instructor Kim Broughton has been teaching outdoor recreation-related classes for over a dozen years on topics ranging from introduction to kayaking to basic bike maintenance. She welcomes everyone in her classes and specializes in instructing those with special needs.
Classes are free if you have purchased a bike from Parkersburg Bicycle within the past year. If you have not purchased a bike at the shop in the past 12 months, the cost to attend is $10. Our first class will be held Thursday, July 23 at 7 p.m. Class size is limited to six and we have a few slots left. Advance registration is required. To register, e-mail kim@parkersburgbike.com or call the shop at (304) 485-BIKE.
Every bike we sell comes with a service package that includes:
